SafeHavenGuide
Privacy and Data Use
SafeHavenGuide collects relocation profile details so it can rank country fit, save assessments, generate reports, and manage account access.
Information collected
The assessment may include age, household details, children and children ages, approximate net monthly income, motivations, pain points, preferred regions, and optional sensitive context such as ethnicity, religion, LGBTQ+ status, disability needs, and safety concerns.
How information is used
Profile data is used to calculate country rankings, summarize fit, save reports, and prepare email or PDF outputs requested by the user. Optional sensitive fields are used only when the user chooses to provide them and are intended to improve relevance of safety, community, healthcare, and family considerations.
Storage and deletion
Signed-in accounts store assessments, report snapshots, and email-delivery records in the application database. Local drafts may also be stored in the browser. Users can delete report history or delete the local account from the account page.
Email delivery
Password reset and report emails are queued in the application outbox. When an email delivery provider is configured, the email payload may be sent to that provider for delivery.
Guided recommendation plans
When optional AI enrichment is configured, SafeHavenGuide may send a minimized recommendation context to the AI provider to draft explanations and next-step plans. This context is limited to assessment signals, scoring factors, and top country matches, and excludes passwords, reset codes, and direct account contact fields. When AI enrichment is not configured, the app uses deterministic scoring guidance.
Product analytics
SafeHavenGuide records limited product events such as sign-in, checkout start, wizard progress, report actions, and view changes so the service can monitor reliability and improve the subscription funnel. These analytics events are designed not to store raw sensitive assessment answers, passwords, reset codes, or full contact details.
Community-partner attribution
A link from a disclosed Community Partner may set a first-party, HTTP-only attribution cookie for up to 30 days. SafeHavenGuide records the partner code, first and last touch times, the internal destination, limited campaign labels, referring site hostname, quiz milestones, resource actions, signup, paid conversion, and retention milestones. It does not import partner-group member lists or store an IP address, device fingerprint, assessment answers, or household profile in partner-attribution records. Anonymous touch events are pruned after 400 days; expired anonymous sessions are pruned earlier. Account-linked conversion records are removed when the account is deleted. Partner compensation never affects community-resource ordering.
Children
Children ages are collected only as household-planning inputs for an adult account holder. SafeHavenGuide is not intended for use by children.
